FThe Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region faces significant financial crime risks related to the abuse of trust and company service providers (TCSPs). This is partly due to TCSP financial crime regulation being nascent in its inception and/or implementation in many MENA countries. Opaque beneficial ownership regimes also contribute to the issue. This report provides an overview of the main financial crime risks related to TCSPs in the MENA region, as well as guidance on how to maintain robust AML/CFT practices in order to identify and mitigate these risks.
